When you visit this page (server logs)

When you open this page, your browser sends technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring link, and browser and operating system details. This appears in server logs and is required to deliver the page and to defend against attacks.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine these logs with other data and build no user profiles.

Hosting (Vercel)

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered from a server location in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Vercel processes the server data above on our behalf. As a US company, processing in the USA cannot be ruled out; the transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Beta waitlist (sign-up form)

When you join the waitlist, we process the data you provide: email address (required), optionally your first name, your role (e.g. music teacher), the areas you're interested in, and your language/country setting. The purpose is to add you to the waitlist and to send you an interest-based invitation to the beta or a launch notice later.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use a double opt-in: after you sign up we send a confirmation email, and your registration only takes effect once you click the link in it. This process also serves as proof of your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — informally by email to the address above. After a withdrawal, or at the latest when the beta phase ends, we delete your waitlist data.

Email delivery (Resend)

To send the confirmation and welcome emails we use Resend, Inc. (2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor. Your email address and the message content are processed. The transfer to the USA relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Storage of waitlist data (Supabase)

Your waitlist data is stored in a PostgreSQL database at Supabase, Inc. (970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore); the database server we use is located in the European Union. Supabase processes the data solely on our behalf.

Cookies

We set a single cookie: NEXT_LOCALE. It only stores whether you want the site in German or English and contains no personal data. It is technically necessary (§ 25(2)(2) TDDDG), so we do not ask for consent.

We set no cookies for analytics, audience measurement or advertising. No analytics services, social networks or ad networks are embedded, and the fonts are served from our own server (no connection to Google Fonts).

Retention

Server logs are automatically deleted or anonymised after a short time. We keep waitlist data until you withdraw or until the beta phase ends, and at most as long as necessary for the stated purpose.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to object, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please use the email address above.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
